May breathed a sigh of relief. To be honest, every time she lied to Dawson, she would feel guilty because Dawson was so kind to her. He was so good that it would sway her. However, every time May thought of Bella’s tricks, she would shudder…
***
The next day, May set off early and even changed her clothes.
After seeing how beautifully May dressed, Dawson smiled and told her to be safe.
It was a pity that Dawson did not know that May took a taxi and did not go straight to the company, but instead, she went to the private room of a coffee shop.
After arriving at the private room, May waited until she entered the room before taking off her huge sun hat and sunglasses.
Inside the room, an old man in his fifties had obviously been waiting for a long time. Then, he directly pulled May into his arms.
This old man was Brooks!
“Oh, my darling! I missed you, I missed you so much!”
Although May was disgusted with Brooks, she still chose to endure it due to his identity.
Brooks had backup keys for almost all the offices in his office.
Without Brooks’ help, May would not have been able to get in, let alone steal the confidential documents she was targetting. Obviously, May and Brooks had planned this meeting.
May did not let Brooks take much advantage of her after they spent some time in the room.
“This cafe has a very high rating! See if you want something to eat or drink, honey.”
Brooks obviously knew this was a rare opportunity and he had to grasp it well, so he put on his best performance. Of course, May did not care. Her only purpose was to get the key and then act at night. Unfortunately, the two had no idea that someone was watching them when they were in the room.
Jasper and Baz were nearby. Since they had set up surveillance in the room early on, they could see everything when looking at the surveillance screen on their mobile phone.
