Celine was safely escorted back while Saul and the others also returned to the country safely.
Everything had returned to normal with Lydia’s two petroleum fields and other properties as well.
If anything had gone wrong with the petroleum fields, Lydia knew that Nori would have informed him about it when they called just now.
“Are you able to implant a Trojan Horse virus through this?”
The technician immediately nodded at Lydia’s question. “I can, Mr. Laine. I can do that with ease, but if they were to ever investigate…”
“I’ll take care of that. If they ever come to you over this, tell me. I’ll take full responsibility.”
The technician was filled with confidence when he received Lydia’s assurance. Then, the technician began to tap away on the keyboard and quickly prepared the virus.
“It’s all done now, Mr. Laine. I also upgraded this computer’s firewall. What happened today shouldn’t happen again.”
Molie was pleased and nodded. “Alright. You’re free to go now…”
Now that the technician had left, only the couple was left in the office.
Lydia reached out to pull Molie into his arms again and this time, she did not push him away. At the very least, Lydia could conclude that the misunderstanding between them had been resolved.
Molie’s expression was calm when she looked at Lydia and asked. “When are you leaving again?”
Lydia knew that if a woman were to ask this question, she had already known the answer in her heart.
So, Lydia replied. “Tomorrow, of course! I’m giving myself a day off today. I want to spend the whole of today with you!”
Molie finally smiled brightly when she heard this reply.
