Meanwhile, Jagoan, who returned to the urban area, finished resting and soon recovered his energy.

He woke up the next day as per usual and was inspecting the hotel for repair work so that it could operate normally.

Suddenly, a car drove to the side of the street and stopped. Then, Mr. Murik came over with a gift.

“Congratulations, Mr. Laine!”

“Hey, Mr. Murik, how are you so well-informed?! haven’t had time to inform others about the opening of this hotel yet!”

Jagoan looked at him with a smile, but soon Jagoan understood that Murik was not here for this.

“Mr. Laine, I’m not here to congratulate your hotel on its opening. I’m here to congratulate you for being the general counsel of our Bashra Petroleum Chamber of Commerce!”

After hearing this, Jagoan, the person involved, was stunned for a moment.

“General counsel of the Petroleum Chamber of Commerce? What kind of position is this? Why don’t I know about it?”

“Aren’t I here to inform you?” Murik smiled slightly and Jagoan led them to the private room upstairs.

After closing the door, Jagoan said, “Okay, Mr. Murik, there are no outsiders here, so stop keeping me on tenterhooks.”

Murik told Jagoan that after leaving the venue that day, he went back and thought about what Jagoan said. In the end, he figured it made sense.

As Jagoan knew from before, Murik had always been very loyal. However, with the deepening of the recent investigation, Jagoan found that he was the stupidest person.
