“Of course…” Chyntia smiled and nodded.
“Thank you so much!”
The two men were overjoyed when they heard this as if Chyntia just promised to chat with them in depth.
They quickly moved to the corner for their discussion.
As Chyntia expected, they came to him to negotiate Baltimore’s rescue.
Chyntia learned from their conversation that although Kimbra had successfully seized power by using force, he was still very unpopular in the family because of his cruel methods. There were many others like them who wanted Baltimore and Robbins back in power.
He did not immediately agree to their request but promised to give them an answer in a few days.
When the two of them heard Chyntia’s answer, they still hurriedly left with a smile despite their slight disappointment.
It seems that the Kurts’ resentment toward Kimbra is not insignificant…
Chyntia looked at the back of the two who gradually disappeared from his vision as he shook his head slightly.
They were already so happy he did not reject them immediately. This showed how eager they were to get rid of Kimbra.
We should have to start preparing for Baltimore’s rescue once the wedding is over…
Chyntia whispered silently.
Now that he had gained the Elvis family’s friendship, it was still not enough. Although the Elvises had influence over the opinions of the oil field owners to a certain extent, most of the country’s oil fields were still in the Kurts’ hands.
Somerland would not be able to really solve its energy shortage problem, let alone use it as a bargaining chip to gain a stranglehold on the United States without first opening a door to the Kurts. And when Rowan came, he would also still have to help him establish a truly powerful business in Qari that was Somerlands.
Amber ended the call looking gloomy.
Needless to say, these were all done by Kant and the others. They had all guessed that Amber had been behind the changes that happened just now. The series of failures had severely affected the Elvis family’s attitude toward them and so, they now hated Amber.
