“Mr. Owen, there is one question you still haven’t answered. That is assuming the United States or forces like the Rothschilds used mercenaries to initiate turmoil and disrupt the situation before the war started.”
“If that is the case, how can you ensure that the agreement at this meeting can be carried out as promised?”
“Like today’s attack. Maybe, many of us here will be wiped out. Especially us, the heads of the local Qari families. If we die here, new members of the family will soon take our place. And they are very likely to be the spies arranged in advance by forces like Rothschild. Just like Kimbra.”
Warwick’s words were like a heavy hammer hitting everyone’s hearts.
What he said was something that many families here were worried about.
A series of events that happened during the day today fully demonstrated why Kimbra was able to imprison his father and brother and successfully ascend to power. All because the Rothschilds supported him. This made many families even more dissatisfied with the Rothschilds and also cast doubt in their hearts.
Originally they were dissatisfied with Kimbra’s coup in the clan, but now this dissatisfaction had become a concern. After all, no one wanted to be like Baltimore in the end. They did not want to be betrayed by their son secretly.
Now there were many mercenaries in Qari and they were all very powerful.
Although they were not as good as the official Qari army as a whole, if they were to be mobilized, the individual families would not be able to handle that kind of force.
Just like today when the Sky Wolves Mercenaries were the only ones who launched the attack but were almost wiped out because they were unprepared.
If Sandra’s people had not stalled so that the reinforcements could arrive in time, Warwick’s worries might have become a reality.
