Wilbur rolled the window down and smiled. He asked, "How can I help you?"

"Mister Penn, the president just gave the order to call off the mission. Please stop," Lucia asked helplessly.

Wilbur sighed to himself.

There was no way that they could convince him to give up when the contribution was so close to being his.

"Hey, this was discussed and agreed upon earlier. How can the president of a nation go back on his word?" asked Wilbur in a displeased tone.

Lucia sighed and replied, "You might not know this, but Maddox knew this had something to do with the president. He spread rumors that put the president at a disadvantage in this confrontation. The president has no choice but to stop the operation."

Wilbur laughed internally and thought, 'This president is such a coward. Is Maddox someone he can't afford to offend? Look at how scared he is right now.'

"Sir, there's no backing away at this point. I never go back on my word either. Go back and tell the president to wait for the good news. Drive."
