The team of soldiers standing behind them were all armed to the teeth with various weapons and explosives.

Shepard sighed. "Please just leave. I don't want to hurt anyone."

His words made Fiona flare up in fury at once. "Lance!"

Lance, the short and stout man, took a step forward. Spiritual pressure surged out of him, forming a gigantic hand that reached out to grab at Shepard.

Wilbur scrambled to hide in a corner as a cold, cruel smile appeared on Fiona's face.

Just then, the Nature Longsword lit up and swung toward the gigantic hand.

The hand was crushed with a deafening noise, and Lance retreated in shock.

Rampant spirit energy surged into the air, but the Nature Longsword was already at Fiona's neck.

All Fiona could feel was an immense wave of power entering her body, making her tremble in terror.

The team of armed soldiers raised their weapons in a hurry, aiming them right at Shepard. However, none of them dared to do anything, seeing as the sword was right on Fiona's neck.

Shepard hardly paid the armed soldiers any mind, glancing at them coldly. "Get out of here now, while you're still alive."

Lance wiped at the blood by the corner of his lips from where he lay, staring at Shepard as he called out to Fiona. "I'm sorry, miss, but we need to get out of here."

The single move from the Nature Longsword pretty much confirmed for Lance that he was no match for Shepard.

Despite not knowing where this Super Sanctuary level cultivator had come from, Lance's priority at hand was getting Fiona out of there safely.

No armed force could hold a candle to an elite like this, regardless of how powerful their weapons were.

The only weapons that might pose a threat were cannons or bazookas, which they did not quite have the authority to access. Besides, Fiona was now at this guy's mercy.
