The girl looked at Wilbur and asked, "Can you bring me with you?"
"Aren't you afraid that I'm a bad guy?" Wilbur smiled and said.
The girl shook her head. "You don't seem like a bad guy."
"Bad guys don't have it written on their faces," Wilbur joked.
However, the girl did not respond to his joke.
Wilbur suddenly felt a bit awkward. After a moment, he said, "You know you'll have to follow me wherever I go, right?"
The girl lowered her head and said, "I have nowhere to go, and I have no money either."
Wilbur frowned. After a moment, he said slowly, "Then follow me for now."
The girl followed Wilbur, walking past a few streets before they reached the hotel.
The guests at the hotel and the staff all looked over curiously at the beggar-like girl.
Wilbur did not care at all. He brought the girl to his presidential suite before he opened the door to the bathroom so she could take a bath. He asked the girl, "What's your name?"
"I'm called Ivy Goode," the girl replied with her head lowered.
Wilbur nodded and said, "Ivy, go take a bath for now."
Ivy nodded before she walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind her.
Wilbur went to the living room, switching on the TV before he lit up a cigarette.
After half an hour, the girl walked out with a towel around her, standing in a corner of the living room.
Wilbur looked over and was a bit surprised.
After the girl washed up, she draped her silky long black hair behind her.
The features on her face were remarkably beautiful. Her skin was wheat-colored, and she was less than twenty years old. She seemed to exude youth from her body.
A vibrant and beautiful girl like that was just wrapped in a towel. Most people would definitely have lost control.
