Living With My Lady Boss by Blue Silver novel Chapter 1268

"He's… a really good fighter. I was on the ground before I even knew what was going on," Sopa said, clutching his face.

Cade chuckled. "Doesn't really take a good fighter to take down an idiot like you, does it?"

Sopa hardly dared to say another word then.

Cade looked at Jack coldly. "Do you have enough money yet?"

"N-No," Jack said shakily.

Cade sneered. "You're lucky you bring me hot chicks from time to time. I'd have fed you to the dogs otherwise."

"I'll come up with the money, I swear," Jack begged.

Cade scoffed. "Get me my money in a week, or that girl of yours is going to have to work in the bar. With those looks, I'm sure you'll have paid off your debt in no time."

"No, please! Please, Boss, she won't hold up in this line of work," Jack sobbed.

Cade smirked at him. "Is your word bigger than mine now?"

Jack trembled all over, but he said at once, "Boss, this new guy she just met is loaded for sure. I'm positive we'll be able to get a good amount out of him."

Cade took a sip of his whiskey, leaning back against the couch. "If that's the case, I suppose you can get an extension on your debt."

"It'll work, Boss. I swear," Jack hurried to say.

Cade sneered, shouting, "Sanko!"

A broad, buff man walked up from behind him.

"Bring Jack with you and keep an eye on that guy they're talking about. Corner him in a quiet place and bring him to me, I want to see just how rich he is," said Cade.

Sanko's voice was deep and solid. "Yes, Boss."

Wilbur and Bailey left the hotel and wandered around the streets.

It was dark now, and the lights were up as Gamuda City continued its hustle and bustle.

The streets were filled with all kinds of tourists, stalls, and hawkers.

Wilbur looked on thoughtfully, taking in the sight before him.
