Living With My Lady Boss by Blue Silver novel Chapter 1271

Bailey paid them no mind, walking over to Wilbur and looping her arm around his.

The three men burst out laughing, clearly thinking little of Wilbur.

Wilbur sneered coldly. "F*ck off."

"What the f*ck did you just say?" the narrow-eyed man flared up at once, shouting at Wilbur.

His friends eyed Wilbur in a hostile manner as well, rolling up their sleeves as if they were about to make a move on Wilbur.

Wilbur smirked. "Get lost unless you're looking for a beating. I don't want you to regret this."

"Do you f*cking know who this is? Mister Jarn's a guest of honor of the head of our gang, how dare you talk to him like that?" one of the other two men said cockily.

Wilbur looked the three men up and down. Indeed, they were all dressed rather nicely. The watches they were wearing alone cost a fortune, and it was clear that they were not ordinary folk.

That didn't matter, of course. Anyone trying to act out in front of Wilbur would be making a terribly stupid mistake.

"I don't care who he is. Another word from him, and I'm not going to be as nice," said Wilbur coldly.

The man who had just spoken flared up in rage and was about to make a move on Wilbur.

Just then, however, a driver came over and said, "It's time now, Mister Jarn."

Mister Jarn eyed Wilbur coldly. "You're in luck today, you piece of shit. I swear to god I'll break both your legs if I see you again, so you remember just who you're talking to."

Upon saying so, Miles Jarn turned and entered a Rolls Royce with his friends.

Wilbur shook his head, heading into the hotel with Bailey.

Bailey let go of Wilbur's arm in the elevator, lowering her head. "Sorry. I got scared just now."

"It's fine," Wilbur smiled.

The two of them headed back to the room, the tension in the air palpable.

Wilbur glanced at Bailey with a smile. "You should get some rest."

"Okay, you rest early too." Bailey practically fled to her room, and not another peep was heard from her.
