Cameron let out a loud cry, meeting the warrior's sword with his own.
A deafening sound rang through the air as Cameron's sword was crushed in a second. He was sent flying from the impact, landing heavily against one of the trucks and leaving a deep dent.
Blood trickled out of the corner of Cameron's mouth, and he widened his eyes in shock.
The power of the holy warrior was terrifying, and clearly on a higher level than Cameron was on.
Just then, the warrior took one big stride over to Cameron, lifting him into the air.
Cameron struggled with all his might, but the warrior's overwhelming power made all his efforts in vain.
"Tell your men to surrender, or they will die." The holy warrior put his sword to Cameron's neck, the blade ice-cold.
A terrible chill spread through Cameron's body, lowering his temperature at an alarming speed.
Cameron was certain that all it would take was a little bit of force from the holy warrior, and Cameron's head would be separated from his body forever.
Yet he met the warrior's gaze with his own firm one. "The Flame Dragon Lord Church will never surrender."
The warrior's gaze flashed coldly, and his sword lit up with spiritual flames.
Cameron closed his eyes.
Just as the warrior was about to slice Cameron's head off, a cold voice rang through the air.
"Let him go."
The holy warrior got a shock, sensing a deep feeling of dread all of a sudden.
He turned around slowly to see a young man standing behind him. It was unclear when this man had appeared.
He seemed frightfully normal but radiated a bone-chilling aura.
"I said… Let. Him. Go," Wilbur repeated.
The holy warrior let out a howl, maximizing all of his spiritual aura and swinging his sword at Wilbur in a final burst of courage.
Wilbur reached out, grabbing the blade of the sword.
The holy warrior realized in horror then, that Wilbur's arm was completely covered in golden scales.
These scales rendered the effects of the warrior's enchanted sword completely useless.
Amidst the warrior's shock, Wilbur jerked the hand holding the cross sword. The weapon shattered at once, and Wilbur landed a blow on the warrior's chest.
The attack was swift as lightning, barely even giving the warrior a chance to react.
