Tarron was nothing but worried, turning to frown at his assistants. "Prepare to get in touch with Milo Konos. We're going to clarify our stance."
"Yes, Sir," his assistant chorused.
They had prepared for the worst to be here, including sacrificing themselves.
Just then, the Flame Dragon Church militia had been steadily retreating under the attack of the church militia knights. Cameron was badly wounded, and could hardly keep going anymore.
The Scorpion Army had also crossed the border, and the thirty thousand soldiers had received orders from Milo to go forth as well.
The Church of the Flame Dragon Lord looked like it was going down for sure.
Just then, however, a slim figure clad in long white robes appeared within sight, making her way into the battlefield.
Behind her was an overwhelming sea of people. It was hard to even tell how many people there were in there.
Tarron widened his eyes in shock. What was this?
The woman in white was none other than the Patron Saint of the Church of the Flame Dragon Lord, Catherine Sharpe. Behind her were twenty thousand faithful believers of the church, all of them making their way towards the battlefield.
Catherine stood on the edge of the battlefield, raising her hands and shouting, "Glory is of the Church of the Flame Dragon Lord. May the spirit of the Flame Dragon Lord be with us!"
At the same time, the twenty thousand believers got on their knees and began to pray.
A red-hot glow emitted off Catherine as she waved her hands, and a blinding red glow enveloped the Church of the Flame Dragon Lord's church militia.
Natural charm.
In the blink of an eye, the members of the church militia's eyes grew bloodshot. Their chests heaved heavily, and they almost threw themselves at the knights.
The battle grew even more intense.
Catherine's natural charm, coupled with the believers' prayers forged a power of belief that sent the members of the church militia into a frenzy of rage.
