Connor stopped in front of the entrance of the charmingly antique manor door. "Hello. My name is Connor Adams, and I have an appointment to see Earl Hans."
An old man with white hair and a crisp suit walked out, looking at the three of them. "Come with me. Master Hans is waiting for you."
"Thank you," Connor said, and the three of them followed the old man towards the castle.
There were many servants tending to the gardens on the way there, trimming away at the exquisite greenery.
However, they would stop and bow at the sight of the three of them, waiting until they had passed before continuing with their work.
Jaden could not help but marvel at this. "God, these uppity folks are truly a different breed. Even their servants are so polite and well-trained."
"Well, of course! The Angora clan has been around for almost a thousand years. They've been upper-class since the Sunset Dynasty colonized them," said Connor.
They walked on for over twenty minutes until they finally reached the castle entrance.
There were two guards dressed in traditional woven armor with spears in their hands, standing tall and straight.
This was even more of a status symbol.
The old man stopped at the door. "Go inside. Don't let Master Hans wait too long."
The three of them scrambled to thank the old man, before heading into the castle.
The two guards bowed to them as they left. The three were greeted with a sprawling living room that looked like it walked straight out of the mid-centuries, radiating an ancient air of history.
Jaden huffed. "Upper-class taste, man. Just look at this."
"Stop talking," Connor frowned.
Jaden frowned, but Elise was still peering around curiously.
