"Sir, I think you might have gotten the wrong idea. We're in Morburn. This is Westeria. Not Dasha," said Caesar coldly.
Wilbur smiled. "It doesn't matter where we are. Anyone who insults my people will have to pay the price. It's your call from here."
Caesar was momentarily stunned.
He was the head of security here, and there was a whole team of armed Special Forces officers at the door, yet this guy was threatening him?
A pause later, he let out a chuckle. "It seems like there's something seriously wrong with your head. Take them away and send them to court once the festival is over."
"What are we gonna do?" Elise looked a little panicked.
Wilbur merely smiled. "Sure. Tell your Chief-of-Staff Dillon and President Brandon that my banquet with them is going to have to be delayed, then."
"What?" Caesar thought that his ears were deceiving him, staring at Wilbur in shock.
Wilbur said nothing, taking a drag of his cigarette.
He did not appear to be joking, and Caesar fell deep into thought.
Wilbur's words seemed ridiculous, but if they happened to be true… Caesar would be as good as dead.
Considering the seriousness of this, he eventually said, "Could I make a call to the president's headquarters first?"
"Sure," Wilbur said.
Caesar stood up and walked out. "Pour them a cup of coffee."
He left the room after that, going over to his office next door.
Sitting down at his table, Caesar picked up the phone.
