Back at the stadium, Wilbur and Elise were still wandering around.
They had indeed spotted many celebrities, but they happened to be in the special photo station where their bodyguards would stop fans from getting too close.
Elise sighed. "How I wish I could become a big star. I'd never be like them if that were to happen, you know? Any fan can get a photo with me."
Wilbur smiled. "With how rich your family is, making you a star is hardly a problem."
"Ah, forget it. I'm just rambling here, I'm still in school." Elise stuck out her tongue playfully.
Just then, Wilbur's phone rang. He saw that it was Charlie calling and answered the call.
"Sir, Chief-of-Staff Dillon from the president's office just called. He said that he's throwing you a banquet in the banquet hall in the stadium where the international film festival is hosted."
"Here? There are so many people though." Wilbur had just wanted to meet up with Brandon so that he could explain the situation and apologize to Wilbur, not make a big deal out of it. Just getting in touch in private was enough, this was too much.
Charlie said, "Dillon said he has already invited a few internationally acclaimed directors and actors to attend the banquet under the guise of celebrating the film festival. The president will meet you there, and together you will congratulate the opening of the festival."
Wilbur nearly started laughing.
Celebrating the film festival with him? What the hell was going on here? Wilbur hardly had anything to do with this festival at all. What was the point of even inviting all these big names to attend?
Just as he was about to turn the offer down, however, he turned and saw Elise. "Elise, I've got a chance for you to meet some big stars. Wanna go?"
"Really? Of course!" Elise cheered.
Wilbur nodded. "Alright, then. Tell me who you want to meet, and I'll make sure they show up tonight."
