Living With My Lady Boss by Blue Silver novel Chapter 1474

"Where?" Wilbur asked.

"The private room in the banquet hall."

"Let's go, then. We should be heading back after that's done, too," said Wilbur.

Charlie nodded, and the three of them made their way over to the banquet hall.

Not long after, they were led to the back of the hall where Dillon was waiting with two assistants.

Dillon hurried over at the sight of them, extending a hand to them as he greeted them warmly.

Wilbur shook Dillon's hand, who said, "Mister Wilbur Penn, it's truly an honor. First of all, I would like to apologize on behalf of the president to you about the incident with Atrus Wood. The entire plan had been orchestrated by Atrus in secret, and the president knew nothing about it."

"Alright, sure. I hope your president doesn't take me for a fool, though," said Wilbur.

Dillon smiled. "We would never dare to do something like that. The president greatly admires your power and hosted this banquet just because he wanted to be your friend."

"Be my friend?" Wilbur asked, looking at Dillon, who smiled.

"This friendship's good for everyone, isn't it? You just need to say the word if there's anything you need the next time you're in Westeria, and I'm sure the president will see that it's done."

Wilbur definitely understood what Dillon was implying.

Brandon wanted to make a trade with him.

Wilbur would have special rights in Westeria, and Brandon would have the friendship of an Emperor level elite.

This seemed like a pretty decent deal, so Wilbur nodded with a smile. "Thank him for me, then."

"This way, please. Mister President has been waiting for you." Having accomplished the main task, Dillon ushered Wilbur into the hall with a huge smile.
