Sarah's bodyguards rushed into the room, but Sarah dismissed them with a hand. "Get out."
"Miss Sarah," the bodyguards said feebly.
Sarah glowered at them. "I told you to get the f*ck out! Didn't you hear me?"
The bodyguards retreated out of the room with no other choice.
Sarah stared daggers at Donna.
Donna finished peeling the orange, putting a wedge into her own mouth. "So sweet."
She chewed slowly, fixing Sarah with an almost serene smile.
A beat later, Sarah leaned back in her bed. "Go away. I never want to see you again."
"Did you forget what you'd said before?" Donna smiled. "You said that all the men in the world are garbage, and all I did was prove that statement. That was what we swore in the first place. Surely you still remember, don't you?"
"Go away. I don't want to see you," Sarah said emotionlessly.
Donna got to her feet with a smile. "You've changed, and so have I. Who knows which one of us will end up with Wilbur Penn, huh?"
She turned away and disappeared through the door.
Tears streamed down Sarah's face as she sobbed quietly.
Over in the Nees manor, the team Cape had sent arrived at around noon.
The team leader was a middle-aged man named Jonah Hopper, whom Wilbur introduced to the Nees brothers before a welcome banquet was hosted for lunch.
The Nees brothers, along with a few core members of Nees Corp as well as the Cape team and Wilbur sat in the biggest private room to celebrate this.
This was great news to the Neeses, as Cape's support would guarantee them safety and even a one-way ticket to success.
To Wilbur, this was nothing short of wonderful as well.
Investing in Nees Corp and taking over Rocher Corp would be greatly beneficial to Cape's development as well.
