Esha was back in the hills by the time she returned to her senses.

She looked around herself in a panic to make sure she was safe, then spotted a completely pale Wilbur drenched in sweat.

"Are you alright? How did we get out?" Esha asked in a panic.

Wilbur said, "I used my spirit energy to make an opening in that world."

Esha did not understand what this meant but knew that she was at least safe.

Wilbur's spirit energy was nearly completely drained. Had it not been for him using all his spirit energy at the very last second to make an opening, the two of them would have vanished along with that world.

The next second, Esha asked, "You fought and killed those people for this world, and nearly died in there for nothing. What was the point?"

"You might have gotten nothing out of it, but I gained a lot," said Wilbur calmly.

Esha stared at Wilbur in a daze, unable to understand what he meant. They had not emerged from there with a single thing.

"I witnessed courage and sacrifice, two things every last one of us should learn."

Wilbur got to his feet, walking out of the hills.

After a brief pause, Esha hurried to follow after him.

The two of them drove down the mountain not long after. Esha was silent the entire ride.

It was only until they entered Hemount City that she asked, "Could you take me in as a pupil of yours?"

"Nope," Wilbur said firmly.

Esha stared at him. "Why not? Is it because I'm not smart or strong enough, or I don't have what it takes?"

"It's none of those. You're just too old," said Wilbur.

Esha did not know what to say, unsure if Wilbur was telling the truth.
