Just as Wilbur walked through one corridor, he noticed something strange.
There was a female doctor in a lab coat and a doctor's badge sitting on the bench in a corridor, reading a book on medicine.
She seemed oddly calm and still in the flurry of people, sticking out like a sore thumb.
Wilbur took a quick glance at her before hurrying after Faron into Faye's ward.
Faye smiled when she saw Wilbur. "You're back."
"I am. How did this happen? Were you being clumsy?" Wilbur lectured, his chest aching.
Faye smiled. "It's just a sprained foot. It's not a big deal. How are things on your side?"
"They're great. How's the team assigned to take over Rocher Corp?" asked Wilbur.
"We're already putting it together," Wilbur replied. "They should reach Hemount City in about three days to liaise with the government there."
Wilbur nodded, but Faron interjected, "Dude, are you two seriously talking about work first thing upon seeing each other after so long?"
Wilbur glared at him. "The hell am I supposed to say with you around, huh?"
Faye snorted, swiping at Wilbur playfully as she blushed.
Faron choked on his spit, sputtering out awkwardly, "I'll get going now. It's a busy day for me too."
He was about to leave, when Wilbur said, "Wait."
"What's the matter, dude?"
"Tell me the truth about what's going on here." Wilbur looked straight at Faron, who held his hands up. "Nothing? Just taking you here to visit Faye."
"Are you sure?" Wilbur asked.
