Inside a restaurant in the city center, Wilbur and Elsa had just sat down in a quiet private room when Elsa tossed a folder in front of him.
"The information in here was found when I searched Jurgen's home. According to the documents, it's evident that a certain official from the provincial health department of Seechertown has bribed Jurgen several times, asking him to quell a series of medical disputes caused by a certain drug in all the hospitals in the Economic Development Zone! Also, some of the transactions recorded in this file were made in the name of your hospital's dean's wife and were transferred to Jurgen's hands. I don't know if you came to this hospital because of this, but I'm willing to guess that you didn't come to this small hospital to gain some life experience."
Listening to what Elsa said, Wilbur remained noncommittal. He just picked up the file on the table and glanced through it. After remembering the name Daxon Curl, he spoke, "And you're giving me this file… I'm guessing there's more to it than just letting me take a look?"
Hearing Wilbur questioning her motives, Elsa said calmly, "Unless someone comes forward to expose this scandal, they won't be exposed to the public eye and will continue to be hidden in the shadows thanks to those benefiting from it. You have great power, wealth, and influence. You can fully expose this and make sure that these parasites receive the punishment they deserve. Don't forget, you owe me a favor!"
Wilbur nodded at what Elsa said.
After all, once such a huge group suffered losses, the power of the unified suppression was not something an ordinary person could withstand.
Elsa had given it a lot of thought before coming to him. Otherwise, she would not have pinpointed the most important parts of the matter with just a few words!
"Fine! I'll take this matter on. Once I investigate and clarify it in the next few days, this matter will definitely be brought to light in a reasonable manner."
Wilbur agreed but did not reveal that his actual purpose in infiltrating this hospital was to expose medical malpractice in the first place.
