Wilbur frowned as he said, “He has the ability to gain immense spirit energy and physical strength by absorbing the lives of other humans, almost in the form of sacrifice. That’s pretty similar to some cults‘ cultivation methods.”
Elsa did not say anything. That was something beyond what she knew, nor had she heard of such things.
She turned to look at Ryder, expecting him to say something instead.
Yet Ryder swayed before keeling over and pa**ing out on the ground.
Els cried out, “Are you okay?”
“He’s fine. He’s just exhausted from overusing his spirit energy. However, his left arm is in a pretty bad state and needs tending to,” Wilbur said with a frown.
Elsa whipped out her walkie–talkie, calling for the helicopter at once,
It flew over in no time, and Wilbur hauled Ryder onto the helicopter along with the man’s corpse before they flew away.
Following that, Ryder and the man’s corpse were placed in the special forces department. Wilbur returned to Sealake Island, dismissing the agents watching over Faron.
Looking at a still–meditating Faron, Wilbur made a call to Faye explaining to her what happened and that he was going to have to spend the next few days on Sealake Island.
After doing that, he sat on the couch smoking as he thought about something
Two days later, Faron finally opened his eyes for the first time.
He leaped to his feet excitedly and sand to Wilbur, “Bro, I did it! I can meditate by channeling my aura now!”
“That’s good! Congratulations, Mister Campbell,” Wilbur said with a smile.
