Before Tina could speak, her mother replied, "Kyra and Demetra have left. Demetra said that he was leaving Cametra to look for Miyah and that you would always be a good friend of his. Oh, he also left you this letter."
Tina's mother handed an envelope to Wilbur, which he did not open right away. "Thank you, ma'am. Let's eat."
After dinner, Wilbur returned to the attic and opened the letter. Demetra was not particularly good with his words, but he expressed his gratitude towards Wilbur and brought up something.
It turned out that Tina had cried the entire night after her mother had told her how she felt. Tina had no choice, and Demetra hoped Wilbur would not blame her.
Wilbur sighed after reading the letter. Just then, Tina came into the room with a handkerchief she had finished embroidering. "I heard that Dashans like embroidery, and the dragon symbolizes luck and happiness. I thought of making you a handkerchief so you can carry it with you. Do you know how charming you look when you wipe your mouth with a handkerchief, Wilbur?"
"Is that so?"
Wilbur dabbed at the corner of his mouth with the handkerchief. He set it down, looking straight at Tina. "I'm a very gluttonous man, and you've caught my attention. Now I'm going to make you pay."
Wilbur carried Tina to the bed, and they spent the rest of the night together. In the days to come, Wilbur brought Tina shopping around Aidementon. They left their mark around the city, and Wilbur also showered her with gifts.
Three days later, Wilbur asked to meet Tina on the balcony and told her how he felt.
"I'm going to leave Cametra and return to Dasha tomorrow, Tina. I hope you and your mother will live happily here."
