Living With My Lady Boss by Blue Silver novel Chapter 1988

"Alright. Let's retreat."

Wilbur and Tracy turned to walk towards the Wearson Valley entrance, but they walked in the fog for more than ten minutes. They felt like they should be at the entrance at that point.

Tracy had a bad feeling and asked cautiously, "Mister Penn, have you heard about that test?"

"Test?" Wilbur observed around and asked puzzlingly, "What test?"

Wilbur felt the same as Tracy at that moment. They should have been out of Wearson Valley based on their pace, but they were still in the valley. They were undoubtedly lost.

Tracy said, "There used to be a test. If someone walks blindfolded in the dark without a cane, their path would not be a straight line. Now, we're in the fog and we can't see anything. Do you think it's possible that we're not walking in a straight line as well?"

Two snake monsters sprinted out from the sides of the fog as soon as Tracy finished talking. One of them sprinted toward Tracy, and the other sprinted toward Wilbur. Wilbur raised his thunder cleaver and slashed the snake monster to death. He looked up and realized the other snake monster had been killed by Tracy.

Wilbur replied, "I think it's highly possible."

"In that case, are we not able to walk out of here?"

Wilbur replied, "From the looks of it. But I think we can get out once we break the formation."
