Wilbur put the thunder cleaver away, turning to pick up a glass. "Would you like some water?"
Tracius stared at the Light Armor, his voice quivering as he asked, "Is my brother stuck there forever?"
Wilbur paused from taking a sip. "Yes, your brother's going to be there forever, but I've brought back what he wants."
"So what? What could possibly be more important than my brother's life?"
Wilbur said, "I can't answer that, but I think your brother being willing to go to Wearson Valley for the Light Armor should be enough of an answer on its own."
"I thought Tracy would have forgotten about Truman going into Wearson Valley. I can't believe he ended up going still…"
Tracius wiped away his tears. "Can you tell me what happened in Wearson Valley? I want to know how Tracy died. Since you've brought the Light Armor back, does that mean that the secret of Wearson Valley's been solved?"
"Since you want to know, I'll tell you the whole story," Wilbur replied.
Wilbur had not wanted Tracy to die, and that was his only regret. Wilbur had thought that he would never be able to make it up to Tracy, but now that Tracius had shown up Wilbur decided to tell him everything. At least Tracius would find comfort in that.
