A fierce chase broke out between the two as they ran wildly. Upon reaching a crossroad, the Shadow King split into four clones. Three of the clones came charging at Wilbur from three different directions, and the other one stood right there before turning to look at Wilbur.

"You might have the protection of the middle and upper dimensions, which I definitely envy, but you're far too innocent if you think that's going to be enough for you to protect the world. This world is going to end in destruction by my hands. Remember my name—the Shadow King!"

Upon saying the words, the Shadow King disappeared in a plume of black miasma. Wilbur stood at the crossroads, detecting the three powerful auras coming from different directions. All three auras were extremely powerful, and Wilbur was at a loss. The Shadow King was far too powerful, to the point where even his clones were capable of emitting powerful auras.

"F*ck it, I'll take them as they come!"

Wilbur charged down the path on the left, quickly finding a Shadow King in the middle of devouring a cultivator. The Shadow King devoured the powers of the cultivator and grew a good deal stronger but melted into the ground at the sight of Wilbur to flee.
