Wilbur abruptly stopped when he heard that. He clenched his jaw and looked back at the old man. He suppressed his anger and turned back, saying, "I'm begging you, sir. Please tell me where the eighth cauldron is."
"So, you really want to know where the eighth cauldron is? Alright. Wait here."
Wilbur waited for a minute. Suddenly, the float on the water's surface moved. The old man pulled on the fishing rod, and he dragged out a carp that was around three kilograms.
The carp thrashed about on the ice. Loud, audible smacks could be heard from the ice. The old man sat there as if he was not in a hurry to kill the fish. He looked at Wilbur and said, "Go and grab the fish. If you can grab the fish, I'll tell you where the eighth dragon cauldron is."
"Alright, sir. You said it, so don't blame me for it."
Wilbur walked towards the carp and bent down to grab the fish. The old man said, "Hold on, I forgot to tell you. Just like the usual rules, you can't use spiritual energy or other powers. You can only grab the fish with your physical strength."
"Alright. I'll do that right now."
Then, Wilbur held the carp down with both hands. The carp was powerful, but Wilbur managed to hold it still. However, the carp suddenly moved as he was trying to lift it up. The fish was slippery, and Wilbur stumbled, dropping the carp to the ground.
"Damn it! I won't let you escape!"
Wilbur bent over to grab the fish again. He tried more than ten times, but he could not seem to grab hold of the fish at all. Therefore, he felt very disappointed. The old man smirked and said, "Ha, you can't even win against a fish, yet you want to look for the eighth dragon cauldron. What a joke. Don't blame me for this. It's not that I don't want to tell you where the eighth dragon cauldron is, but I'm just worried that if I told you, you won't be able to come back. I'm trying to save your life, you punk."
