Within just ten minutes, groans and moans could be heard from the room. Professor Dickens shook his head, opening the motherboard of the Satan Robot to take out a piece of metal.
He let out a sigh, then tossed it into the trash can.
Many people have been researching robots for the longest time, and a lot of those projects were to develop killing machines. Professor Dickens knew that the biggest flaw of a killing robot was that its motherboard could not maintain a steady state.
A real killing robot would be unleashing havoc in public against humanity, which would make it vulnerable to different attacks. The robot's exterior could block the attacks with special materials, but the massive vibrations that shook the motherboard would greatly affect its functions. Many killing robots tended to malfunction after taking a few attacks.
If that happened, the robot would be as useful as a pile of scrap metal. Regardless of whatever special functions the robot had, it would be useless the second its motherboard stopped functioning.
Controlling a robot like that to go against humanity was a ticket to the afterlife. That was the case, until a few years ago when a geology squad from Moda found a special ore that possessed a special magnetic 'memory'.
Upon sticking the extracted metal onto a circuit board, it would memorize the board's information based on its electromagnetic field. If anything were to happen to the circuit board, the metal would automatically reform and restore the circuit.
With such a powerful piece of metal, killing robots would be able to automatically restore their motherboards even after they had been damaged with overwhelming pressure so that their controls would remain intact.
Paired with an exterior made with the best protective metals, a perfect killing robot would be possible.
