In the world of cultivators, an ordinary cultivator who sacrifices to an evil god can receive an infusion of the god's power. However, a powerful cultivator can become a direct puppet of the Dark God upon sacrificing themself. The god's will connects to them through a unique aura of dark divine power, continuously channeling energy from the god's realm to the cultivator.
Wilbur had previously severed such dark connections from the Blood God and the God of Destruction. Thus, when confronted with the aura from Bahamut, he was not surprised at all. In fact, he noticed that Bahamut's dark aura, represented by the serpent, was much weaker compared to the other dark gods. This indicated that Bahamut's strength was relatively inferior among the evil gods.
With a swift motion, Wilbur summoned the Magic Dragon Blade into his hand and set his eyes on the dark divine energy linking Aisha to the heavens.
Aisha, controlling the black serpent, relentlessly attacked Wilbur. He evaded her strikes while gathering his strength. After just a few seconds, Wilbur swung the Magic Dragon Blade, aiming at the dark divine energy.
"No!" Aisha screamed in agony as she saw Wilbur's blade cut through the dark aura. But her cries were in vain. The blade's strike sent a shockwave through space and time, severing the tendril of dark energy. It then dissolved into a black mist and vanished.
"No!" Aisha cried out, reaching toward the sky. But at that moment, her body began to wither rapidly before collapsing lifelessly onto the ground. She was dead.
Wilbur descended gracefully, observing the desiccated corpse that lay before him. It was hard to believe that the once young and beautiful Aisha had turned into a withered husk. He gasped in shock, then retracted the Magic Dragon Blade. He extended his left hand in a claw-like gesture and summoned the Light Helmet into his grasp.
