Living With My Lady Boss by Blue Silver novel Chapter 2437

Wilbur continuously channeled the power of light from within him to resist the rampaging dark figures. He knew all too well that if these creatures managed to breach the shield, he would be the next target of their voracious appetite.

The dark energy devouring the power of light indeed shocked Wilbur, leaving him feeling both surprised and hopeless. After all, the power of light seemed ineffective against these dark figures. Once his power of light was consumed, Wilbur feared he would be powerless to fight back.

Wilbur pondered for a moment, and he knew that he must use his strongest attack quickly. Otherwise, he would not be able to fight back once the light shield shatters.

The first dragon cauldron instantly levitated in the air. Wilbur unleashed all his dragon aura to form a white dragon. Then, he recited a spell and executed the Dragon Move with a cry, "The seventh level: The Dragon's Turn!"

A gold bead appeared above his head out of thin air as he shouted. Then, the gold bead flew into the body of the white dragon, transforming it instantly into a gold dragon. The gold dragon then let out a furious roar.

The light shield shattered at that moment, and countless dark figures came at him like a tidal wave.

The gold dragon swam in the dark, and its tails swiped away at the dark figures, reducing them into wisps of dark energy. The huge dark energy ball shattered at that moment too. Then, Wilbur stood on top of the gold dragon's head and burst through the dark energy ball, sprinting toward the Dark Messenger.

The gold dragon roared angrily, and its claws suddenly seized the Dark Messenger's body. However, just as the gold dragon was about to crush the Dark Messenger, the time for the Dragon Move had ended. The gold dragon dissolved into golden specks of light, and Wilbur descended gracefully from mid-air. Depleted of his spirit energy, his body swayed briefly before steadying once again.

"Haha!" The Dark Messenger laughed maniacally and said, "So close, Wilbur Penn, so close. You almost killed him, but you've run out of chances."
