Living With My Lady Boss by Blue Silver novel Chapter 246

Chase chuckled and refilled the beverage for Wilbur. He asked, “How did you get here? Is Faron not with you?”

“This is my hometown. I came back to visit my grandpa’s grave. Faron is usually busy, so we don’t keep in contact.” Wilbur purposefully made it sound like he and Farom were not close. Their identities were unique, after all.

“Oh, I see.” Chase looked like he had a sudden realization. He said, “It’s good that you have time to come back for a visit.”

“By the way, I heard there’s a food factory here. Did you come here for that?” asked Wilbur

Chase chuckled upon hearing that. He replied, “I came here specifically for this. I checked the hygiene situation around here in the moming, and I’m heading to Harvest Food Factory this afternoon.”

Harold fell to the side. He struggled to hold on to a chair to avoid falling over.

Jason also went pale in the face, almost fainting on the spot.

They both knew that the hygiene standards of their factory were not up to par.

Wilbur noticed their reaction, then laughed and said, “You have to inspect carefully because food safety is not a minor concern.

“Of course. I will inspect thoroughly even if you didn’t mention it, Mister Penn.”

Chase knew what Wilbur was indicating. He instantly implied that Wilbur did not need to worry because he was on it.

The waitress served the noodles, and they were ready to dig in

Harold hurriedly threw a look at Jason, which he immediately understood, Jason then tried to escape by sneaking along the comer of the wall.

He had to get to the food factory immediately. They could not hide everything, but at least he could do something

Suddenly, Wilbur yelled, “Mister Yates, are you leaving? I remember that you demanded a settlement be made between us.”

Jason went soft in the knees. He fell to the floor and could not stand up.

Wilbur shook his head and sighed, saying, “It seems like that’s all you’re capable of TM

Jason did not dare to reply. He tried his best to get up and he ran away.
