Living With My Lady Boss by Blue Silver novel Chapter 2472

Something about this felt terribly ominous. Johnson had not been part of the attacking crew for a few days now, and he might be observing Wilbur's strategy while coming off as weak and vulnerable on purpose just to mislead Wilbur.

That was bad, and Wilbur had to escape immediately!

Wilbur turned to flee just as Johnson shouted, "Chase after him! The bastard comes back every hour with new clones. He won't be able to cast them for an hour after this! Now's our chance!"

Those words made Wilbur's blood run cold. Sure enough, Johnson had been observing Wilbur's attack patterns and his cloning spell duration. Now that he had exposed Wilbur's weakness, Wilbur would be slaughtered if he was caught.

It was a good thing that Wilbur had only attacked with seventy percent of his power, as the remaining thirty percent he kept as a reserve could at least help him keep a good distance between himself and the robots.

However, Wilbur knew that he could not keep flying for an hour at high speed. If the Satan Robots did not slow down, it would not take an hour for a nasty battle to break out between both parties.

With no other choice, Wilbur had to take a risk by betting that the robots would run out of energy within an hour, or he would have nowhere to escape. He did not regret this as the seventy-thirty split of his powers that he had planned for this strategy made this his best form to be fighting in. He would not be able to kill the Satan Robots otherwise.

At this point, it was just up to fate. Wilbur turned around to glance at the Satan Robots chasing after him. Since Tenin said that the magical tower only appeared by fate, then it was about time for him to see if Earth shared this fate to make it through this tragedy.

Wilbur was rather confident as he had been killing the Satan Robots steadily in the past month and had knocked down the robot army's bravado quite a bit. Thus, he was pretty sure that Johnson and the others would not chase him for too long.
