The Dark Lord was furious at the sight of the growing cube dimension. He darted over until he was above the dimension and struck the cube with a heavy blow.

The cube dimension cracked at once, then exploded into countless little pieces. Wilbur leaped into the air, facing the Dark Lord before landing a punch to his chest.

Wilbur moved too quickly for the Dark Lord to react, and a golden dragon appeared in the air before soaring through the Dark Lord's chest. The powerful dragon aura tossed the Dark Lord into the air, and the golden dragon suddenly expanded in size. It flicked its tail against the Dark Lord, sending him flying into the dark clouds in the sky.

The golden dragon disappeared after that. Wilbur looked at the clouds, preparing himself for a battle. Yet over a dozen seconds ticked by, and the Dark Lord was nowhere to be seen. All of a sudden, the ancient formation below grew rampant as it released black miasma hundreds of times more quickly.

The countless wisps of black miasma soared into the air. Wilbur was pushed a dozen or so meters forward because of it before moving out of the black miasma and appearing outside of the black pillar.

Wilbur frowned, muttering to himself, "What on earth is he trying to do?"

Just then, the voice from before rang in Wilbur's head once more. "Oh no, he's become one with the ancient formation and absorbing the dark energy through his original form. We have to stop him, or he's only going to grow more and more powerful."

"Got it."

Wilbur had no time to waste, soaring into the heavens. He was shocked at the sight that greeted him in the dark clouds.

Three identical Dark Lords had appeared in front of Wilbur, all three of them having created defensive barriers that they were using to absorb the dark energy.
