Edmund heaved a sigh of relief at the words. After spending some amount of time with Wilbur, Edmund realized that he was truly a man of honor. That was why Edmund had kept Wilbur by his side, and told George that Wilbur was a dragon clan cultivator.

That was the only way Edmund's plan would be able to go on. He needed Wilbur to get on George's good side, and the plan would go up in flames if Wilbur was dishonorable and just left for Walker Town.

It seemed that things were still within his control. Despite Wilbur not stating his reasons to stay outright, George guessed about as much and smiled. "Alright, then. You can stay in Buck Town for now, but you're always welcome in Walker Town. You can come by whenever you want."

"Thank you, Lord George."

A lump grew in Wilbur's throat when he heard those words. He had been in the middle dimensions for some years now, throughout which he had been improving his powers with Felix without slacking in the slightest. Hearing Lord George's words made Wilbur feel like he was back on Earth, running into an old friend.

Following that, George and Edmund headed into the secret chamber to chat. Edmund told George what had happened in the past few days and expressed that he hoped George would help him against the pressure from the Dragon Slayer Organization.

George smiled. "Ah, yes. I forgot to mention just now that Dalton's in Buck Town. He's waiting right outside the City Lord's quarter gates. I ran into him and told him to leave."

"What? So soon? I thought he'd take at least a few more days…"

George patted Edmund on the shoulder. "Don't worry, I'll make sure Dalton won't hurt you. He won't be able to get into these quarters as long as I'm around."

"Thank you, Lord George."

Following that, the two of them started their game of chess. This lasted all the way till nighttime, when George's servant, Layton, called out from outside of the secret chamber, "Mister George, there's been a rebellion in Walker Town that you need to rush back to sort out."
