As he said the words, a black ball appeared in Dalton's right hand. It grew bigger and bigger, radiating an icy, black miasma. Dalton then controlled the ball with both hands, hurling it into the lake.

The next second, the water in Pulsa Lake froze over, with icy snowflakes dancing across its surface. A layer of ice formed over the lake, the raised frost lifting the boat up.

Icicles began to climb up the boat, quickly covering it with a layer of frost including Augheimer.

Wilbur's eyes turned bloodshot. "What the hell are you doing, Dalton!"

Dalton sneered. "You managed to defeat me the last time because I was careless, Wilbur. I've laid down the most powerful Dark Formation at the bottom of the lake, and it's going to keep everything within Pulsa Lake frozen. With how frozen your little friend over there looks, I doubt he's going to last more than an hour. If you can't defeat me by then, Augheimer is going to die!"

"You're not going to get away this time, Dalton!"

Wilbur summoned the Magic Dragon Blade, leaping into Pulsa Lake. He was getting closer and closer to the wooden boat when a wall of ice appeared to block his way.

"You fell for it, Wilbur!" Dalton was practically beaming from ear to ear.

"Anyone who stands in my way shall perish!"
