Chapter 297
“Sir, it’s this guy. He doesn’t know the rules at all.” Someone pointed at Wilbur.
Moose looked at Wilbur and scoffed coldly. He asked, “You want my help without playing by the rules?”
“May I ask what exactly you are doing?” asked Wilbur with a smile.
Someone spoke up before Moose could answer, “He’s helping us gain prosperity. I can’t believe you dared to disturb him. I’m going to beat you up even if he forgives you.”
“Oh yeah? How does he help people gain prosperity?” asked Wilbur.
“He possesses extraordinary abilities and is capable of discerning fates. You should apologize to him immediately,” scolded another person.
Wilbur laughed and said slowly, “He won’t need to earn money through evil means if he’s really capable. You people are a bunch of fools.”
That instantly caused an outrage. A few of them came up to Wilbur and pointed at him accusingly. They scolded, “How dare you insult him like that! You better watch it before we throw you out the window!”
“I know you people have money and power. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to fool you. I’m sorry to disappoint you, but I can assure you that he’s not as capable as you think.”
There was no way that a spell cultivator who focused on curses could bring prosperity to people.
Wilbur believed that he was able to cast a spell or two to deceive ordinary people. However, bringing prosperity to the people was something Wilbur could not do, let alone Moose Chet.
“I’ll immediately order someone to ruin you if you dare to act so arrogantly again,” shouted someone loudly.
Wilbur suddenly stopped smiling and glared at him.
That person instantly felt as though he had fallen into an ice chamber, feeling a chill run down his spine. He could not speak at that moment.
Wilbur took out the necklace and waved it in front of Moose. He asked coldly. “Do you recognize this?”
Moose looked at the necklace, then he looked at Wilbur. He asked slowly, “What if I do, and what if I don’t?”
“If you don’t recognize it, I’ll beat you until you do. And if you do recognize it, you better remove the curse. I might spare you from punishment if I’m in a good mood,” said Wilbur coldly.
The people were enraged. They yelled and scolded Wilbur. Someone said, “Sir, don’t be angry. I’ll tell my bodyguard to get rid of him right away.”
“Yes, ruin him. He’s too arrogant.”
“You ignorant fool! How dare you speak to him like that? You must be punished.”
They all started to scold Wilbur
Moose waved it off and said, “I do recognize this necklace. The curse is my doing, but why should I break. it for you?”
“Because you’re hurting the innocent,” replied Wilbur coldly.
Moose smiled slightly and said, “I just took someone’s money to help them get rid of a crisis.”
Chapter
“Diminishing one’s luck and causing misfortune to another. Can you really call that getting rid of a crisis?” demanded Wilbur.
Moose rolled his eyes at him and yelled angrily, “I didn’t stoop to your level, but you’ve become even more unreasonable. It seems like I need to teach you a lesson.”
“Oh yeah? I’d like to know what that lesson is.” Wilbur sheered.
