Chapter 300
Wilbur nodded. They were siblings, so it was nothing out of the ordinary.
They checked into their hotel rooms. Dom and Sammy were exhausted, so they fell asleep immediately.
Wilbur started to meditate while lying on his bed.
Moose looked anxious in his room. He wanted to run, but he thought about the lightning strike, so he did.
not dare to.
“If I do run and he catches me, I will be doomed, right?”
Moose thought it over and clenched his jaw. He thought to himself, ‘It might not be such a bad thing.” With that, he started to sleep too.
The next morning, Wilbur woke up and washed up. Dom and Sammy entered his room after knocking. Moose also obediently came over.
Wilbur looked at him and asked, “You played nice, huh?”
“I wouldn’t dare have any ideas in front of you,” said Moose in a pitiful tone.
Wilbur chuckled and said, “Good. I won’t trouble you any further if you take me to your mentor and break the curse. But if you dare to play any tricks on me, you won’t be able to afford the consequences.”
“I know, I know.” Moose kept nodding.
Wilbur chuckled. They arrived at the hotel restaurant. They planned to eat well before departing.
Wilbur looked at Moose while they were eating. He asked, “You’re a cultivator. Don’t you think it’s shameless to scam those people like that?”
“It can’t be helped. I have to pay offerings to my mentor every month. I can’t do that without money,” replied Moose.
Wilbur frowned and asked, “Why does your mentor need money?”
“Not money. Sacrifices.”
“What did you say?” asked Wilbur while frowning.
Moose looked startled. He hurriedly replied, “It’s nothing.”
“Be honest, or else,” Wilbur threatened coldly.
His face turned red with frustration, but Wilbur was too intimidating, so he could only clench his jaw and say. “Every month, we have to provide ten corpses to our master. If we fail the task, the curses on us will take effect, and we’ll meet an untimely death.
“Corpses?” Wilbur looked shocked Dom and Sammy had their jaws dropped. They were in disbelief.
Moose nodded silently Wilbur asked with a stern expression, “So, you harmed a lot of people, right?”
Moose hurriedly waved and said, “No way! I only purchased them through underground channels. You know these transactions require a lot of money, so I can only scam people to fund it
Wilbur frowned and said slowly, “It looks like your mentor is not an earnest cultivator.”
“Sir.” Moose clenched his jaw at that moment. He knelt in front of Wilbur before he said, “Truth be told,

my mentor cultivates voodoo spells. His six students have been cursed, and I’m one of them. I can’t help
it.”
Wilbur helped him up and said in a low voice, “You better explain this clearly. If what you said is true, eliminate your mentor who is the source of all this trouble.”
