Jason was the talk of the town. How could he ever endure humiliation file that?
He would cause some trouble for sure.
Wilbur was planning to teach Jason a lesson in case he wanted to cause trouble for Nancy’s parents in the future.
It did not matter what Jason was up to.
He would just have to deal with whatever came. Handling Jason Yates would be simple enough for him.
Roanne was infuriated at that point. She was looking at Wilbur like she wanted to tear him to pieces.
However, the damage was already done, so Wilbur ignored her.
Nancy’s parents looked worried as they sighed.
Suddenly, Jason walked back inside and sat down smugly. Roanne wanted to apologize, but Jason raised his hand and said, ” You don’t have to say anything.”
Roanne was instantly stunned
Jason glanced at Wilbur and Nancy, then said in a low voice, “If no one gives me a reasonable settlement for what happened Today, someone will be held responsible for it.”
It was a clear threat. Nancy’s parents instantly panicked, and Roanne was also looking pale.
Nancy said, “Mister Yates, please calm down. This is our first time meeting each other. To be honest, I don’t think we’re compatible. Let me make things clear. We’ll go our own paths from now on. What do you say?”
She was being very polite yet determined.
However, Jason grinned menacingly and asked, “What about my pride? How can I show my face if anyone in Daneville finds out I’ve been dumped by a girl? What about my uncle’s reputation?”
“It’s not that serious, Mister Yates. Just say you weren’t into me, and I won’t say a thing,” replied Nancy,
Jason smiled coldly and asked, “Are you the one making decisions now? What about what I have to say?”
“What you have to say is a joke,” said Wilbur casually.
