Things turned out as he expected.
A few minutes later, the flames of the spirit energy on the deadly cleaver went out.
The spirit energy Wilbur used was retrieving inch by inch. It was apparent that his opponent could not handle the exhaustion of spirit energy.
'Here's my chance,' Robin thought.
He lurked in the dark and existed in the form of a shadow. He inched closer to his opponent through the trail of retrieving spirit energy.
He could make another fatal attack if he was close enough.
His opponent probably would not have enough spirit energy to fend for himself.
Wilbur was retrieving his spirit energy back into his body. He also retrieved his deadly cleaver.
Robin laughed because physical attacks had no use in his Dark Domain. He was less than a meter away from Wilbur at that moment.
However, he did not rush to attack.
He wondered if his opponent had something up his sleeve. Wilbur was a terrifying opponent, after all.
The distance between them was perfect for Robin to launch an attack and retreat from the battle in a timely manner. Robin felt like his opponent would likely use any he had tricks up their sleeves soon.
After ten seconds, Robin realized his opponent looked hesitant. His feet were facing the door of the hotel room as if he wanted to run back to the room.
His opponent seemed scared. Robin felt like Wilbur had run out of moves.
He silently came behind him, and the dark dagger appeared in his hand again.
Wilbur did not seem to notice. He cautiously walked towards the room, and Robin followed closely, sneering coldly inside.
'What an idiot! That's not how you waste your spirit energy,' Robin thought.
