Wilbur frowned and said, "I don't think that's any of your business, right?"
He was starting to get angry at Whitney's condescending attitude.
However, Whitney chuckled and said, "I'm here to expose you for who you are so that you can't deceive anyone ever again. I'll have you know that I'll tell Shelby everything once I get back. You can forget about winning her heart!"
Wilbur was speechless. Since when did he think about asking Shelby out? Whitney sure had some powerful imagination.
"I don't wish to say anything. Can you just let me eat my dinner in peace?" Wilbur had no intention of continuing to deal with Whitney.
However, Whitney would not let it rest. "Have a look at yourself. How dare someone like you sneak in here? This is an insult to everyone."
"Sir, you better leave, or I'll have to call the guards. That'll only make you look bad," Lucas persuaded from the side.
Wilbur was both angry and amused at the same time. He looked at Lucas and said, "And what did I do to you now?"
"Forgive me for being frank, but my friend here says you're a charlatan, and you do look like one," Lucas replied softly.
Wilbur laughed, then shook his head. "You're quite a courteous one. However, I'll advise you to mind your own business. It's for your own good."
"What did you say?" Lucas was triggered right away.
His loud voice immediately attracted the attention of several people nearby and they approached the group, asking, "Mister Draker, what's wrong?"
Those people were more or less in the same situation as Lucas. They had some money, but not that much. However, they knew about each other and some even had some business dealings with each other. They noticed that Lucas was caught up in some trouble, so they hurried over.
Just then, Whitney said, "This guy snuck in here without an invitation, and he even insulted Mister Draker here. He's too audacious!"
Wilbur rolled his eyes at Whitney and shook his head. For a young lady, she sure was a vicious one. He dared not imagine what she would turn into after she graduates and set food in society in the future.
