Living With My Lady Boss by Blue Silver novel Chapter 616

She definitely had the looks and body fit enough to be a flight attendant. The clothes she was wearing were rather attractive as well.

Wilbur sat down with a smile. "Hello."

"Hello, Mister Penn," Xandria said with a smile.

"Oh, you can just call me Wilbur."

"I wouldn't dare to do that. Even my superior's afraid of you, so I'd never call you that," Xandria said playfully.

Wilbur chuckled. "That's just them. You're your own person. So, what's up?"

"Not much. I just wanted to buy you a meal." Xandria smiled.

Wilbur was surprised. "That's it?"

"Well, why not? You helped me out big time, you know. I got promoted to chief flight attendant after that incident, and it's all thanks to you."

After what happened at the airport, Xandria was promoted to chief flight attendant by the general manager of Seechertown Airport. She was told that she would continue to be promoted as long as she worked hard, and definitely had a shot at working in management. All her colleagues now envied her greatly.

But Xandria knew that this was all thanks to Wilbur, and so she used the excuse of asking for help to take him out for dinner to thank him.

Wilbur chuckled. "You really didn't have to."

"You might not care, but I need to do this. Please, let me thank you," Xandria said earnestly.

Wilbur looked around him. The restaurant they were in was quite a popular one in Seechertown and had been around for almost a century. It was on the pricier side, too. Xandria was definitely sincere about her gesture, and Wilbur could only accept it with a smile.

A while later, the dishes were served up. Xandria even had Wilbur pick a bottle of white wine and had a few drinks with him.

Just as the two of them were chatting, a couple walked through the front door. They headed inside, and the woman noticed Wilbur.

She paused and gave him a once-over. Upon confirming that it was him, she walked over. The man next to her frowned but followed her anyway.
