Steve gave it some thought, then smiled before he said, "Don't worry, I'll handle it. He's not only going to pay for the lady's medical bills and compensate her. I'll make sure he gets locked up so the justice system can teach him a lesson too."
"I know you've got this, Mister Chevor. Well, I'll be on my way then. Don't worry, ma'am, Mister Chevor is here to help you. This bastard's going to get a taste of his own medicine for sure. I need to get back to school now. Bye," said Whitney.
The old woman hurried to wave a hand. "You're too kind, young lady. Thank you, thank you so much."
"Don't worry about it. We're just doing what we should," Whitney smiled.
Just then, an old man and a young man came hurrying over to the old woman. They fussed over her, asking what had happened. These two were probably her husband and son, and they lived nearby.
Whitney looked right at Wilbur, shaking her head. "You're not getting away this time, you piece of shit."
She flagged down the nearest taxi after that, waving goodbye to Steve and leaving.
Steve's gaze flashed with venom as he watched her go, muttering to himself, "Just you wait, you bitch. We'll see if you can still act all pure and innocent after I've got you.
Yet he had Wilbur to take care of first. It was clear that Whitney and Wilbur did not get along, and she detested him to no end.
Taking care of Wilbur would show Whitney just what he was capable of as well, a good chance for him to show off.
Upon finding out what happened, the old woman's son and husband were overwhelmed with emotion and grabbed Wilbur, about to hit him.
Wilbur frowned. "We can talk about this like adults. Let's not get physical here."
"You hit an old woman, and here you are denying it point-blank? I'll rip you a new one!" The old woman's son shouted.
The old woman's husband was all fired up as well. "What are you going to do if anything happens to her? She's an old woman! Have you no conscience?"
"I'm telling you again, I didn't hit her! She slipped and fell against my car, and I even came over to help her up. You've got the wrong picture here," said Wilbur.
