"He's dead. You're all dead now! The Scepter of Death's mine, ha!"

He dashed towards the throne, picking up the scepter gleefully.

The next second, he threw it at Lily coldly. "You'd better hold on to it and keep a close eye on that thing."

The deathly aura that the scepter emitted would attack the soul of whoever held it, and the man could hardly withstand it.

Ryder's tone was cold. "We're members of the Department of Paranormal Research and Defense. You'll be done for if you dare touch any of us."

"The Department of Paranormal Research and Defense?" The man's expression shifted, but his tone remained cold. "You've already lost one of your men, who knows if you might blame it on me! It's best for all of you to be killed, so no one will know."

"I'll leave with them. You can have the Scepter of Death. We can all be on our way, and I promise we won't give you any trouble," Ryder said.
