Wilbur sneered. "Take me to your tribe. I'd like to take a look for myself."
"Of course, Mighty Lord. Right this way."
Omar scrambled to his feet, waving a hand. The men boarded what remained of their vehicles, before looking respectfully at Wilbur.
Wilbur waved a hand, and the flame serpent swooped over.
Omar and the Paro tribe let out another series of cries in worship, before setting out into the forest.
Wilbur rode on the flame serpent, following them from above.
Not long after, the cars stopped in a canyon amidst the woods and Wilbur landed as well.
The canyon was surrounded by woods and mountains, with an entrance over ten meters wide for protection.
There were stray goods lying around the flat grounds of the canyon, probably stolen or robbed loot that they have yet to sell off.
Wilbur took a look around, before turning back to Omar. "In the name of the Lord of Fire Dragons, I order all of you to stand guard here until I return. I shall have a new mission for you to complete when I am back."
"Yes, Lord. We await your return."
Omar and the remaining survivors from Keith's squad fell to their knees, nothing but obedient and meek.
Wilbur smirked, before soaring off into the heavens.
…
Over in Goldsand City, over at the Everest Foreign Trade headquarters, Hannah was in the office, having just returned from the hospital. Her head was a mess.
Her father's injuries were thankfully only superficial wounds and did not threaten his life.
It was Harrod's betrayal that had struck Hannah hard.
Harrod and the security team cost a hefty amount of money every year.
