The air was filled with a frosty chill.

"Take that!" Karl swung his sword in Herman's direction.

"Lowlife."

Herman laughed coldly, waving a hand. A holy flame shot out towards the ice sword.

An explosion rumbled through the air and Karl was sent stumbling over a dozen meters backward, leaving a long, deep welt in the ground.
