The odds of drawing 19 were harder than winning the lottery.
They felt like they would lose for sure.
As expected, everyone tossed their cards and complained when it was time to reveal their cards.
However, Wilbur revealed his cards slowly. He had drawn 19.
"Damn."
The man next to Wilbur could not help but curse out loud.
The other gamblers were stunned.
They felt like Wilbur was very lucky.
Tiff's jaw dropped.
How lucky could he possibly be? She could not believe he was actually able to draw 19.
The dealer won against the four other players but lost to Wilbur.
Wilbur instantly had a pile of chips in front of him.
The dealer started to shuffle the cards with a shuffling machine. A new round started after the shuffling noises.
The man next to Wilbur stood up and left the table. He stood on the side to watch.
There were only four players left.
Everyone placed their bets. Wilbur thought about it and bet nearly 400 thousand dollars' worth of chips.
Everyone was shocked.
Why was this guy taking such a big risk?
Then, they laughed it off.
There were too many gamblers who relied on luck at the casino who lost everything and committed suicide.
The man who stood next to Wilbur wanted to bet on Wilbur. However, he held the chips in his hand again when he saw that.
The way Wilbur placed his bets made him slightly afraid.
Tiff was worried and whispered in Wilbur's ear, "Sir, don't do that."
"It's alright. I'm just having fun." Wilbur smiled.
Tiff was speechless.
Frankly, she would earn more if the gamblers lost more.
