It was late at night.
Christopher arrived at the hospital. He looked at Wilbur who did not say anything, so he silently waited at a corner.
The incident with Tiff instantly caused a buzz among the big shots of Aroma.
They could not believe that Samson Honard and Sharon Taver broke the leg of Trevor Penn's woman and that she almost died.
It was breaking news to them.
Trevor Penn was legendary in Aroma.
They wondered why they would dare to mess with his woman.
They felt like blood would spill when a man was angry.
They felt like he might wash the Aroma streets with blood, it was not impossible for an entity like Trevor.
The big shots looked for Christopher expeditiously to discuss strategies.
Christopher did not say anything. He rushed to the hospital alone.
All he could do was wait.
Wilbur held the final say in who lived or died.
'Discuss? Do you all think that a discussion can resolve this problem? It's not a matter of discussion,' Christopher thought.
Seven hours later, Tiff was pushed out of the emergency room.
Wilbur stood next to her.
She regained consciousness. She looked at Wilbur and put on a wry smile.
The doctor said nervously, "S-Sir, the operation is a success. Miss Kirk can walk normally after a few months of recovery. There won't be any disability."
Wilbur nodded and took the cart. He pushed her to the hospital room and then carried her to the hospital bed before putting her down gently.
"Get out," said Wilbur nonchalantly.
The doctor and nurses rushed to leave.
Trevor made a name for himself in Aroma.
The doctor felt too frightened to operate, he was afraid of making a mistake.
Wilbur brushed her hair and smiled. He said, "It's alright. Just rest."
"Yeah." Tiff nodded. She felt somewhat touched.
