At the end of the day, they themselves were no more than merely policemen.
These people they were dealing with, however, had a certain amount of power that could ruin their career as policemen with just one call.
All at once, the policemen did not know what to do.
It was clearly unfair to just arrest Wilbur, but they could not exactly afford to not do that either.
After giving it some thought, one of the policemen sighed. "Just come with us for the investigation, sir."
He gestured to his fellow colleagues to arrest Wilbur.
Sal, Shia, and Hector smiled cruelly at the sight.
How dare this bastard cause them so much trouble? Once he was in jail, all they had to do was pull a few strings and his life in prison would be hell for sure.
As for Shelby and her friends, they would be even easier to handle since they were studying in this college.
Wilbur stood up, looking around him coldly. "Don't make me put my hands on you."
"Threatening a police officer? You're really something else!" Shia said loudly.
Sal and Hector sneered along.
Things would only get better if the idiot actually dared to assault an officer. That would land him at least a few years in prison.
The officers frowned. "Just work with us here. We'll get to the bottom of this."
"That's fine, someone will be here to do that. I just want you to do your jobs properly and not get led down the wrong path," said Wilbur, looking at the officers.
The officers were surprised, staring at Wilbur thoughtfully.
Just then, Shelby, Yasmine, and Celine got to their feet. They walked over to Wilbur, standing in front of him.
"You're not taking him away!"
"He was just helping us seek justice. What's wrong with that?"
"You should be arresting that Sal guy! Why are you going for Wilbur instead?"
