"Go, Bobby!"
"Go, Bobby!"
"Go, Bobby!"
Countless fangirls screamed. Bobby began his offense while Chris Shelby took up defense.
Bobby sneered at Chris Shelby, "Kid, I admit you're good at fighting, but when it comes to basketball, you're no match for me. You should just give up."
Chris Shelby looked impatient. "Enough talk. Let's play."
Hearing this, Bobby's expression turned cold. "Alright, kid. Let me show you what I've got!"
Not far away, Juliette asked curiously, "Esther, do you think he can win this game?"
Esther snorted in displeasure. "How would I know? This guy always seeks attention and trouble follows him everywhere."
Esther was unhappy with Chris Shelby for standing up for Marie by challenging Bobby to a basketball game. First, there was Candace, then Juliette. Just as she managed to deal with Juliette, now Marie appeared. It seemed never-ending.
However, Esther knew that Chris Shelby had no feelings for Marie; it was purely one-sided on Marie's part. Even so, as a woman, Esther felt uncomfortable.
Juliette noticed Esther's thoughts and smiled. "Esther, don't worry. My brother will definitely win this time!"
"I believe Mr. Shelby can win too!" Marie said, clenching her fists.
Harold Jefferson grinned. "I also believe in Mr. Shelby. How could someone like Bobby be a match for him?"
Seeing that everyone believed in Chris Shelby, Esther asked in confusion, "Why are you all so confident in Chris Shelby? Is he really that good?"
Although Esther knew Chris Shelby was powerful, playing basketball wasn't the same as fighting. How did strength translate into basketball skills?
Juliette laughed. "Esther, you might not know my brother well. He never fights a battle he's not sure of winning. If he dares to challenge Bobby, it means he's certain of his victory!"
Esther thought about it and realized it was true. Since she met Chris Shelby, he had never lost a fight. No matter the opponent, Chris Shelby always seemed confident of victory.
Meanwhile, Bobby launched his attack. He moved quickly, but Chris Shelby was faster. With one swift move, the basketball was in Chris Shelby's hands.
"What…?" Bobby was stunned. He hadn't even seen Chris Shelby's move before the ball was stolen from him.
"Bro, you're amazing!" Juliette shouted excitedly.
Chris Shelby mocked Bobby, "You dare play basketball with me? You're overestimating yourself!"
Bobby's face turned red with anger. "Kid, don't get cocky! Now it's your turn to attack; let's see how you shoot."
Without wasting words, Chris Shelby prepared to attack while Bobby readied his defense stance.
Despite his earlier bravado, Bobby knew from the ball steal that Chris Shelby wasn't a novice and couldn't afford to be careless.
Seeing Bobby's defensive stance full of flaws made Chris Shelby smirk.
"Block him!"
"Block him!"
"Block him!"
