Henry's eyes deepened with unknown emotions as he stared at the barefoot little girl with a doll in her arms.
Rosa's heart skipped a beat, and she was cursing at the turns of events.
Subconsciously, she pushed him away with all her strength, trying to push him out of the door.
However, Henry was already prepared. He leaned to one side and walked inside.
"Henry, listen to me. You..."
Henry's handsome face became cold. He narrowed his eyes and said sinisterly, "Who is she?"
"Mom..." Hanna heard noises, so she got out of bed. She wasn't fully awake. When she saw Henry's stiff face, she was so scared that she was about to cry.
Seeing this, Rosa could not be bothered with Henry. She quickly ran to Hanna, squatted, and said with reproach, "Why did you get out of bed barefoot? Didn't I tell you not to be barefoot?"
Hanna did not speak. She wrapped her hands around Rosa's neck, and she carefully sized up the unhappy man.
"Who is she?" Henry asked again in a gloomy tone.
Rosa quickly picked Hanna up. Ignoring the black-faced man, she walked to the sofa and put Hanna on it.
Then, she touched Hanna's head. Hanna still had a slight fever.
"Sit still. I will get you a fever patch, okay?" Rosa said and went to the refrigerator.
However, her wrist was grabbed by Henry. His eyes glared at her as he smirked through gnashed teeth. "She called you Mom?"
Her eyes were a little dim. Her heart twisted, but her expression was calm. "You heard it, so why ask?"
"Where did you get a daughter? Did you adopt her?"
"I'm not adopted. Mom gave birth to me..." Hanna hurriedly stood up and retorted with the little bear in her arms.
Rosa got rid of his hand and went to the refrigerator to get a fever patch. She then came to Hanna.
Since Henry saw Hanna, there was nothing to hide.
But at this moment, she was on full alert and did not dare to relax at all.
Henry's jaw was tense. He lowered his voice, holding back his anger and the impulse to yell. "Don't tell me that she's you and Andy's daughter? Rosa, do you think I will believe in such a low-quality answer?"
"Haha!"
Rosa laughed as if she had heard something funny.
"Henry, look carefully. She is my biological daughter." She looked at him with a hint of provocation.
Hanna held her in her arms. Their faces were next to each other. They were the same, and Hanna was like a mini her that inherited all Rosa's advantages.
Hanna's facial features were the same as Rosa's.
Rosa stuck the fever patch on Hanna's forehead and touched her head dotingly.
Hanna hid in her arms and said carefully, "Mom, does he know Uncle Andy?"
Henry was calm and wore a gentle smile on his face. However, his eyes were cold. "Uncle Andy? Did you not plan this?"
Rosa held Hanna in her arms and said calmly, "I have never said she is Andy's daughter. So, why should I tell her that Andy is her father?"
Henry did not speak, but his eyes were gloomy.
"I gave birth to her with someone else..."
Henry leaned over and approached her. His eyes were gloomy and scary. He grabbed her wrist with great strength. "As if you will have a child with someone else? Didn't you like Mr. Wright a lot?"
"You may be wrong. I am such a heartless person. When I first went abroad, I went to a country without you or Andy knowing. I was afraid that you would investigate him and find me by following the clues. So, I didn't tell him. Later, I met a man who was nice to me in that town. We got together and gave birth to Hanna!"
She spoke calmly.
Upon hearing this, Henry's handsome face was no longer as gentle and elegant as it used to be. He scored and asked, "Where is he?"
"Dead!"
"Dead?"
"He had an incurable disease. After I gave birth to Hanna, he passed away in less than a month..."
"Ha!" Henry sneered. "Rosa, what a lousy excuse!"
"Whatever you think, but that's the truth!" Rosa looked at Hanna with endless tenderness in her eyes.
Henry held back his anger, took a deep breath, and sneered, "Is Andy okay with it?"
"So what if he isn't fine with it? I gave birth to her already." As Rosa said this, she sneered and said, "It doesn't matter even if he doesn't accept it. My husband will leave me with a large inheritance, which is enough for us."
Henry's thin lips curled into a mocking smile. He said calmly, "No wonder you don't want your sons. It turns out that you have a substitute!"
Rosa frowned. She didn't like the term Henry used. What substitute?
Any child of hers was indispensable!
But she bit her lips and did not lose her temper.
At this moment, his eyes were bloodthirsty and red as if he was going to explode.
"Mom, you have sons?" Hanna frowned. She had never heard of this before.
