Chapter 100 

“You’ve all seen the rules,” Angela began, her sharp, unwavering gaze sweeping across the room. “Mr. Snowden has only given us two days. This time, we must shine for ourselves! Are you confident you can do that?” 

The 20 people in the room exchanged hesitant glances, but none dared to voice absolute confidence. 

They were still haunted by the oppression they had endured under Nora’s leadership. 

Seeing the bowed heads of her team, Angela felt a wave of frustration but tempered it with an understanding of their struggles. 

“Angela, we do want to win for Division 1, but Division 2 has more than 80 people, and we’re only a quarter of their size. Plus…” 

“Plus what?” Angela interrupted before Clara could finish. “Numbers don’t matter if you’ve got the right people. So what if they have more people? Only one in eight of their members might make it. For us, it’s one in every two. What’s there to fear?” 

Her fierce gaze swept across the room, and after a brief pause, she declared boldly, “Don’t forget, you’re fighting for yourselves, for your own honor–not just for me or the division. Every one of us has trained at Bamford Co. with the world’s top designers. How can they compare to us? 

“Each of you in Division 1 has limitless potential. I won’t allow anyone to fall behind–not even myself.” 

She slammed her palm on the desk, the sharp sound jolting everyone in the room. 

Wait. What did she mean? They were competing for their own recognition, not just for the division or the division lead? 

“Angela, if we win this competition, will it be reflected in our personal records?” Alan asked, voicing the question everyone was silently pondering. 

Under Nora’s management, any rewards or contracts the team secured would ultimately be credited to her, with individuals receiving only minor bonuses at best. 

Angela looked puzzled. “If you win, who else would get the credit but you?” 

“Really?” George asked excitedly, as though hearing a fairy tale. 

Angela couldn’t help but laugh bitterly. She finally understood why her team had been so unmotivated. 

Taking a deep breath, she said calmly, “I’m not Nora.” 

Cheers erupted throughout the room.
